Hello!
Thank you for visiting my website.
I am a freelance writer and journalist living in Northern Ireland with my lovely Husband and his many wonderful woolly sheep!
When not playing with the animals, being a ewe ‘midwife,’ a lamb and calf ‘foster mum’ or milking cows, I can be found working on one of my many writing projects (and acting as PhD Assistant – unofficial title – to my Husband.)
My features have been published in a host of magazines including ‘The People’s Friend,’ ‘On The Couch,’ ‘Down Your Way,’ ‘The Best Of British,’ ‘Small Furry Pets,’ ‘Ireland’s Own’ and ‘Ireland’s Eye.’
Meanwhile my fictitious stories have appeared in ‘Yours Fiction’ and Ireland’s Own.’
I have a First Class BA (Hons) Journalism Degree and a news writing certificate from the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ.)
I have worked as a newspaper and magazine journalist, press officer and editor.
One of my proudest moments was penning a poem which was read at my best friend’s wedding and I would love to take on more bespoke writing projects to make your occasion extra special, so please do get in touch.
